One project contribution from Germany came from the textile artist Gabriele Friedrich-Ritscher who works at a school for handicapped children. With a group of 7 pupils in the age of 13-18 years she produced a felt picture book. For that she had written the story about the sick princess and the red curing wool.

The pupils drew scenes from this story, and produced pieces of felt in the colours required for the pictures. By sewing and felting those were later combined to form the ready pictures.
